“The Ghosts of Palmer and the Lessons We Keep Ignoring”
by Wesley R. Bishop
“The protests are a heartbeat. A vital one. But a heartbeat alone cannot stop the bleeding. We need a revolution infrastructure, law, and imagination. Otherwise, we’ll find ourselves marching the same streets a decade from now, again shouting, No Kings in America—and wondering why they keep coming back.”
Appearing SOON in July!!!

Note from the EIC…
Well, Blood+Honey has had a remarkable response from readers since its launch on May 1st. We have received an avalance of support from our followers on social media and submitters from across the globe. We are over the moon to bring you another month of amazing content.
Starting last month, Blood+Honey began publishing poetry, fiction, CNF, and digital art on a rolling basis. Content from our columnists and Writers-in-Residence also started dropping on a staggered schedule. The result: new content for B+H readers DAILY!
If you are new to Blood+Honey, take a moment and explore our site to see what we has to offer. Apart from poetry, fiction, CNF, and digital art, we also deliver feature pieces, disappearing virtual microchaps, columns, writing/visual art from nine Writers-in-Residence, as well as exclusive content only found here on Blood+Honey, such as the popular serialized chapbook, Jethro’s Daughter, by Allister Nelson. There’s something for everyone.
None of this could happen without our dedicated and extremely cool editors. They’re the best, so make sure to give them some love. Last—but not least—our contributors are truly amazing. Couldn’t do this without ‘em.
Follow us on our social media platforms OR just visit us on the daily to see what is NEW at Blood+Honey.

Like the sun, using all its energy to make itself night.”
